I have worked long and hard to be ready to share the HOTRODRAM with all of you. This link is to the pic page. She will run mid 8's (1/8th) and is stock weight. I love the look on the other drivers faces!!!

How in the hell did you get it into the 8's? Nice truck though.
I just noticed 1/8 mile. Couldn't understand how it ran an 8 second 1/4.

That hughes cam works great! 403 HP and 414 ft/lbs of tourqe at the fly wheel. all peak at 4500 and run strong til 5500. All that and NO WHEEL SPIN. You can hear the body creak when it launches. BANG! I LOVE IT!

it says you wanted scoops from a 70's ramcharger i didhn't know they came with scoops most of the scoops i know of are aftermarket hoods

Hooyeah, I propably should have written that differently. I am going to put the hood scoops from a 69-70 Superbee or the early 70 Darts and Demons. That style was called the ramcharger hood. I think they will look great and have the same name as the truck.

These comments coming from fellow Ramcharger lovers means alot. This is not my first project by far, but it has been my most enjoyable. I just did not know how fast it would be since we all know that these trucks ar far from light weights. I would love to see what this engine/trans/diff combo would do in a 69 dart, but the Ram just has too much pesonality now.

Will do .. if I ever get up that far in the ram, you better be ready to pair up... go whoop some chevy and ford tail at the track!! I wonder who would really see who's tail lights hummmm. LOL love the stance of your truck.. mine looks almost like that but i haven't done anything to the suspension.. besides added a few pounds from the 440..

Hey HotRodRam. Congrats on a great truck. Awesome engineering and workmanship! I'm getting ready to drop a MP 402 into my '90 and I'd love to get ahold of a 2500 rpm convertor for my 518. Who makes the one you've got, and where can I get one?

Thanks everyone for your comments! There is a development in the ramcharger saga. I have just purchased a 70 SuperBee (mine from years ago) and I am putting all available resources towards restoring the Bee. I am putting the Ramcharger up for sale , minus the 360/518 (now has a low mile 318/904 combo). It is listed in the classifieds, so if your interested, shoot me a line. Thanks!
