Just reverse?
No way around it- you got work to do. First thing is check condition of ignition (cap and rotor and plugs), then check for codes from computer, then check fuel pressure. After that it gets more complicated.
The electrical thing common with stalling in reverse is the fact that the reverse lights come on. After you get it running, disconnect the connector for neutral safety and reverse lamps (3 pin round connector near the linkage). See if the problem goes away.
