The darn "power" locks on my 85 RC don't work. I looked in the door and it seems impossible to get to the lock guts. Anyone know what I should do? These are the factory locks with the little lock knob which activates the lock relay. I can here the relay working but the lock seems to be binding. I lubed them with no joy. I will take any sugestions.

I would hate to have to shoot someone for stealing something. Bullets are expensive!!!! ;D

that happened on my 89 rc driver door. the little motor that moves the locks seezed up and wouldnt let me lock it from the inside anymore. being it was the driver side i didnt figure i needed power locks. i took off the door panel, the panel plastic cover and then disconnected the motor and scraped it. the lock cylinder was also jammed and i couldnt get the key in so i just swaped cylinders with the pass side door. all works good now. and as a cool lil bonus when the driver door is locked, i can pull the handle and the door opened (inside handle only, lol) and it does an auto unlock. this worked for me, might wanna try it. oh yeah, the motor is about 5"x5"x2" and is in the back near the bottom. on mine anyways. hope this helps ya...
