I’m in north Florida..and consider myself a true *******. Because there’s a lot of imports here that try to be a *******.

I have a 1977 M-880 (w200 ) that still has the military plate inside, then it was a forestry truck,, and then a volunteer fire fighter truck.. when I got it, it was a awful red color, it didn’t run and had been sitting for 2 years, I bought it from a local dodge guru, with a guarantee, and the chance to sell it back to him, if I desired.

I looked at a lot of vehicles for sale and that dodge kept coming to the front of my mind!

so I knew I had to have it ! I’ve threw a lot of money at .. replaced everything electrical under the hood .2 new carburetors ( didn’t like the first one )
It still has small issues im working out . I drive a semi locally and bring it home daily. So the porch ****** can take its time to get perfect. I’ve probably spent over $400 in rust oleum paint.. and painted it 11 Times ,,Just to sand it all off, looking for the perfect camouflage pattern. The 12’th paint job I nailed it !
I’m also sanding the frame and painting everything underneath, I’ve got a lot of decals to put on it. Some I’ve installed.. most I have but waiting to put them on later. I went with the “scat-pack” bee logo and have a lot of bees to install later,

maybe I’ll start a “ build thread “ here ?

I’m damn proud of the camouflage pattern I put on it with a spray can… I’ll probably put a professional paint job on it in 2 years.. my dad has every type of spray gun made..
Gonna do a lot of body work first..fix the little imperfections it has from being 40+ years old.

I took it to our locally quarterly mud bog..and I’d only had it a little while at that time and it wasn’t running real good.. and still impressed me and others at how it performed.. I was planning on blowing the rust particles that was in the roof of the cab..( got a lot of outer cab work to do ). But I bounced it so good at the mud bog..I was wearing that rust when I got out .

only got stuck once..the power king tires on it are damn near new and they were rooting.. it truly stands up to its name.

I'm from the NW. We have craft beers. Anything else is just piss water now. Commercial beers can't keep up with the depth of flavor the craft beers have. My favorites are the English brown ales from Samual Smiths and NewCastle.

When I was a kid my dream was to drive a truck. I ended up starting out as a Glazier and ending up sitting at a desk designing commercial and military aircraft for 31 years. Funny how fast dreams can die. LOL

My shop is lined with scale models of Kenworths and Peterbuilts bought from truck stops.

Its certainly an interesting paint scheme and graphics that's for sure - and I thought MY truck stood out!. Lol. I'm not sure its for me but to each their own. I do respect someone flying the confederate flag tho. It takes balls these days to fly that flag. I have one on my truck also. I'm a 110% Canadian red neck and proud of it but i aint a racist - i hate everybody equally!! - hahaha, kidding, I'm not a racist but at the same time I'm proud to be white and i dont want to see my race disappear.

Democrats, Liberals, and progressives, lumped all together as Socialist Communists, ruin everything they touch. Everything they dislike or consider a threat they lump together with the buzz word, Racist. The flag that once represented the now defunct Confederate states is now used to represent proud southern people and northern people use it to represent themselves as a rebel. To label it as a symbol of racism is just ignorance. It's just Democrats doing the only thing they know how to do. Divert attention away from themselves screwing you in the ass.

You're 100% correct, they like to ruin everything they touch except for their stuff. They get to have things but you're not allowed to have things, that's selfish of you and bad for the environment. They can have steak and lobster and giant gas guzzling longer lasting vehicles but the sheep has to have to have genetically modified foods and fake meat and cheap electric junk. Its always a double standard with the left.
The other problem with the far left is that they are all cowards and when they get triggered and their feelings get hurt, they like to smash and destroy things - like a red necks truck or house. Did you see that judge's house after his address got dox'ed for banning abortions? They firebombed it. Nobody is standing up to these people who cry that everybody is a racist and selfish and like to destroy other people's property. The cops dont stop them either. They give peaceful truckers fines with arrests and imprisonment but BLM and antifa can destroy and deface all they want with no consequences. Funny that 'eh?

I wear the confederate flag for the south - not to be a rebel. If i ever moved to the states, it would be in Georgia or North or South Carolina/Florida or Louisiana or Tennessee areas. This may sound really dumb but i was 9 or 10 years old when The Dukes of Hazzard came out in '78/'79 and from then on i have had this love for the South. The Duke's portrayed it rite which is surprising coming from mainstream television but that was a different era also. Yeee-hawww
