The last time I loaded up my 94 Dodge ram with lumber I almost knocked out my rear window because one piece bounced right into the cab then fell off the side.I found a headache rack I can modify to fit my truck.I use my sliding rear window alot, I am wondering if any of you and seen or made headache racks with a sliding or removable center section?Knowing my luck if I took the easy way out and just made a headache rack without a center section I would accidentally toss a log right through the center...

Just use a piece of expanded plate over the sliding window area and you can still easily get airflow through it.

The airflow is nice, but after having a soda I like to throw the can into the bed so it doesn't spill on the floor in the cab. Then sometimes I need to adjust the straps that hold something in the bed without getting out of the truck...
