Does anybody know where i can get the handles for the vent windows on my 85 D350? If someone could also tell me how they come off, that would be helpful too. My old 77 had a screw that held them on, these i have no clue. ???

I believe it would be #22. My passanger side is fine but the driver side is loose. I need the handle that you use to open and shut the window and it also locks the window. The driver side has a lot of play in it. The handle is supposed to move up and down, mine spins all around and i hear alot of air coming in where it's not keeping the window shut.

There is a roll pin in the handle ( it's in the part closest to the glass) just drive it out carefully with a small punch and a hammer. You should take the vent window out to do this. Once you have the handle off you will see a spring with a wavy washer behind it, the spring might be weak from time or the little plastic nib on the end of the handle might be worn down.

Mopar supplies the handle in a "Handle & Latch Package". I also believe that the handles are held on by a roll pin...your pin may be sheared off?

go to the JY. I prived the repair kit from dodge..it is over 50 bucks !!!!!

I have a 79, and I got the ramps (the peice it slides on) and the handles from a late 80's dodge. they work fine, and since the ramps are higher, it seals better.

50 bucks is more than i want to spend for that kit. I looked at it tonight and the roll pin is still there. It is worn bad enough that i can see the wavy washer wdith no problem. I guess i will try and pull it apart and try to rig it for now. The only thing that puzzles me now is that the whole handle spins in the window. I can watch the piece on the outside of the window turn with the handle. :-\

I dont know where you all shop for parts but the kit is $18 online. Sounds like your pin is turning in the framework of the vent window and it may be time for another vent window asm.Try www.car-part.com for another window there are some there for $10.

On my 85 both windows didn't seal tight when it was new. I don't use vent indows so I put sealer around the gaskets and a penny between the framr and latch.

the price I was given was from a local dodge dealer...the one for the passengers side (called a repair kit) was 18 bucks. The one for the drivers side was 49 bucks.

I believe the outer piece is supposed to be keyed to the glass, and if it is spinning, you will need a new one, as the 'key' is worn or broken off.

Sorry, I made a mistake...the L/H one is $16 online...I quoted $18 for the R/H one. ;D
