Been away a while, but here is the latest pic of my 'other' Dodge. Pretty much stock except a K-n-N Air Filter. Added the tires, bedliner, bug shield, mud flaps, fog lights and keyless entry. Just passed 10K miles. Great truck and still show room new.

No... Mine is an early '03 model, the Hemi was not available on the early 1500 '03's. I have the 4.7L magnum. Not a total powerhouse, but gets the job done.

When i owned it, it sucked ass!

No matter how i drove, i did alot of reasearch on DTO and there were guys gettin worse then me.....I had gotten mine right in jan of 02 so maybe that was the problem with a early model of something.....Who know but i had a 01 with a 5.2 lifted on 35's and it was getting about 13.......that was the reason i traded the 4x4........i drive 100 miles a day and do it 6 days a week.........so i'm real consistant on my records........

Yes your #s are credible.... I just dont understand it though, The best MPG I have ever heard of, was 21 on a 4X4, They were mostly HWay with 3.55 Gear ratio stock 31" tires on a half ton ExCab, 5.2... Im gonna try to do a few mods here to see if I can get close to 20, such as new TB, M1 Intake, headers and Performance Chip from www.krcperformance.com

Heres where it got trickey........My 01 with the 5.2 got worse mileage after i put a set of Gibson headers on!

Then i did the k+N gen 2 and it didnt do anything, then put a k+n 14x4 air cleaner on and felt better, but mileage the same....

I had headers and a Magnaflow muffler.didnt do jack!

remember with the intake and throttlebody, u will need more fuel.which means less mileage.......And a chip will defintely kill what your trying to do........more ignition=more fuel= worse mileage.......

heres what i told my buddy with a 01 1500, 4x4, 5.9......its a truck, and thats all I noticed absolutley nothing from all the cash and time i spent......then took it all out and traded anyway!!!!! Good luck...

Ok I understand you had a bad experience, Im just going to say The advanced timing under normal driving conditions wont hurt your mileage,It uses the fuel more efficiently, As does the M1 Intake....A Raised compression ratio would do the same as well. And it is scientifically Impossible to get worse MPG from headers, Unless the headers are absolute trash.... I have heard many owners give opposite #s from headers and Intake..... Maybe we can get a 3rd "credible" opinion here. I do know that a 52mmTB Will hurt the MPG during acceleration, But under "Normal" driving conditions the motor will burn better without the motor pulling in more fuel. The Ram that was getting 21mph did have a Super Chip and Headers.. (also cold air intake)

Well lets just hope you get better #'s then i did!

I also have printed dyno time as well on my friends 5.9 that prove different throttle bodies dont do sheezit either!

His truck was the test mule for a days worth of testing.....

Oh well goodluck man!

TB "Spacers" might not do (sh*t) But I have scene Dynos proving Bigger TBodys on Magnums Do very well, Especially if an M1 Is applied, They work much better with each of them working with each other. You can also go to Kenny Bells website for those #s,.... Its things like special ignitions that dont give any HP.... The New magnum HEMI has A HUGE TB.... and a good eason for it too.
