What a difference the H-4's make over the sealed beams.
The light these things give is hard to describe without actually seeing them on 8). It's pure white, almost a silver beam. I tried the Sylvania SilverStars, and though they give alot of light, it just wasn't that pure white/HID style I was looking for and the cost was a little high. I found these on ebay with conversion glass lens lights for less than the price of the just the SilverStar bulbs! The pics below just do not do these lights justice. Btw in the first pic the lights ARE off...

As I recall the price was just under $40.
Do you happen to have any pics of the kit? What was involved?

I do not have any pics, but these are available at ebay and elsewhere online.
Installation is pretty simple. The only modification I had to make was to enlarge the opening in the headlight bucket for the back of the headlight housing and wiring connector to fit.
The H-4 bulbs will plug directly into the factory headlight connector.
Badass. I wonder if they make something like this that would work with a 1973 dodge truck.

Yep. They also make them for the 7" round headlights.
That would be cool. How hard was the installation? BTW, what should I look it up on ebay under?

Installation is pretty much the same as changing the stock sealed beams would be.
Try "H6024 headlight conversion" - (for 7" round) or "H6054 headlight conversion" - (for 7"x 6" rectangular) or go to ebay Motors then Parts & Accessories/lighting/ headlights.
That is badass. Thanks for the help dude. That will be something I will do for sure on my trucks. I have just one question and it'll sound stupid, what are the little "citi" lights? They are those little colored lights on the bottom. What do they do? Just for looks?

They're suppose to be daytime running lights (kinda lame)- made more for looks I think though.
I chose not to connect mine- but they're only 2 wire hookup.
Btw, I've also seen them available without the "city" lights.

You're welcome. Glad I could help ;D .
You can find some links in the Production Reviews section. This is the same stuff Jamie has on his Crew Cab, and Randall has done on his RC.
I already found bunches of them on ebay for pretty cheap. There's 2 companies there that have the kits.

my question is who makes those clear turn signal lights you got..... mine are both beat and they look alot better than the crappy stock orange ones.
They came from the factory clear for 93, my cummins had them to
did anybody ever make clears for 89 grills? my rc has orange...bah, ugly. do they make this for the smaller rectangles? our 85 dodge van has quad heads and we want to this but i think they are a bit smaller of bulbs. same on the 89 rc.
couldnt you use other color bulbs for the city lights for like show/offroad lights? like red, green, blue.
i have a set of H4 conversions on my 77 PW.... after relayin the sustem they work beautifully!
I bought a set of those off of ebay, and they are AFU. I think the lense was put on upside down...but I haven't gotten them back out to check. If I were to send them back, I would only get back $10 out of the $40 I spent.
i got the same thing off ebay for my rc they look good...
