I'm looking for a way to determine the value of several firearms that have been in my family for years. They were left to me when my dad passed. I have no intention of selling them, I just want to know what they're worth.

One is a Luger 9mm parabellum. All the numbers match and there is a nazi marking on the frame. My uncle brought it home from Europe in 1947. The blueing is somewhat worn but otherwise in excellent condition.

I've also got a few S&W, Colt and Bulldog ? revolvers that my great grandfather carried while bootlegging and my great uncles carried to their KKK meetings.

Any internet sites, books, people, whatever, that you know about would be greatly appreciated.

contact guns and ammo and send them the serial #s and a full description of each gun and they should send you a letter back and tell you approximately what they are worth.

I use a Fjestads Blue Book of Gun Values when I am looking at a gun to buy. I think its the most accurate measure of gun values around. I buy one about every 2-3 years, usually from eBay. You can also get them at book stores. A new one is about $35-40 and a used one goes about $20 usually, plus shipping. I'll look them up in my book if you'll send me a comlete description of each one Danny. Pics will help too.

Check you local library. They usually have copies of the Gun Bible. That's always worked great for me.
