Sweet! I like that color.
sweet! what happened to your other dakota?
Still have the other dak, gonna part it out or sell everything as 1 deal. it includes 88 dak 2 wheel drive 5 speed complete minus the 4 cyl motor-and a v6, auto tranny, transfer case, and rear end from a 89 4x4 dak. all in good shape. I'll take $1000 for everything if anyone is interested.
I've been considering buying an exact same truck, so I gotta say..good choice! How's that R/T feel?
Mike
It's awesome, i love it other than the mileage LOL.

That thing is SICK as Hell man, That thing is a ripper, But c'mon, you MOG is only bad because of your right foot ;D
I know an owner that gets 22 mpg gallon with his. But anyway, do you have any mods planned?
The 1st mod will be the k&n filter, and possibly the performance computer chip upgrade. When i can afford it.

sick, well check out the best Dak upgrade site/shop in the US, www.krcperformance.com KRC will set you up right, I will eventually be having them do a few things to my 01 Ram
On the Dakota, don't do anything until you upgrade the chip. I had a buddy who was fixin up his Dak. He put in a k&n intake, mass air sensor, ported manifold and headers. The computer read the increased air flow as the engine running way too lean, so it richened the mixture and altered the timing, basically causing him to lose all the power he had gained and foul a bunch of plugs. Good news is that it didn't do anything serious, and now with the reprogrammed chip and a couple other mods, he has himself a low 13 second Dakota. That thing is bad a$$.

low 13? Wow, He must have also putt a nice cam in it. or changed his gears to 4.56. The Best Chip is also from KRC, they will flash your PCM, and set it up to give you about 25hp alone, just add 91 O.

4.10's (I think), ladder bars, slicks, and an air bag on the right rear. Not sure about the the cam or not, wouldn't doubt it. This is just the stuff he was willing to disclose. ;)
I had a 98 R/T club cab that I put a, cam, computer, intake, headers, exhaust, K&N fipk, all from Mopar Performance Parts. Then I put an after market ported holly tb. I never had it to the track, but the wife REALY liked how quick it was.
If you go with the computer, stay with MPP. You'll not only get better performance, but it was designed and tested by Mopar engineers. Plus, an added bonus is the speed govener will be a lot higher ( over 130 I think if not elimenated ) than the factory 105 or so.

KRC will take your Mopar PCM, and program it to maximum performance specifications, significantly farther than the MPP Replacement.
;DThanx for all the info and responses guys, but for now its just gonna be an everyday driver with a few mods. I did however get into it with an older S-10 which the guy obviously had put a v8 in. It sounded good and spun the tires going into 2nd but he still couldn't get by me till i got out of it (due to traffic LOL). Hope to see the guy again and get a chance to talk to him. By the way there was a mustang gt conv behind us when we left the light and he couldn't keep up with us LMFAO cus his plates said RACE98 or something like that cant remember the #.
