Help ! My 88 5.2 Liter Ramcharger is running rich again ! I changed the fuel pump a couple of months ago because it was running to rich and I diagnosed it to be the fuel pump over pressurizing. A couple of months later it seems to be doing it again. Is it a bad aftermarket replacment or is there something else ? The cat is glowing red again so I figure the fuel pump has crapped out ! Dosn't the regulator suppost to open up if there is too much fuel ? Any answers ?

I dont drive anything with a cat but doesnt that red mean its plugged up a bit? Isnt that how those cat fires start? I'm serious.

and if your fuel pump is pumping to much, just put an after market regulator in line

if its running rich, check ur coolant temp sensor. if its bad, it can cause the truck to run rich.
