I have a 1988 Dodge Ram D100 and the gear indicater is off by just a little bit. It still goes into every gear fine but it’s hard to tell which gear I’m in. Sometimes I’ll be in 2nd when I want to put it in drive and it gets irritating. Anyone know how to adjust it? I’m fairly new into the old truck world as this is my first vehicle. Thanks

Mine doesn't work at all. It's on the "list". :)

NOTE / 90% of owners dont know about the little cable and Tang , they drop the column and it destroys the cable which ruins the PRNDL [ pronounced Per-Ner-Dil ]

I was looking for a new one for my dads truck and out of 6 in the junkyard one wasnt broken. As DODGEBOYS said, be very careful when removing the bezel or column as its like dental floss.

Some of us have messed up several because of rushing, and forgetting about the cable when pulling the dash. :(

I have just learned to count clicks when shifting. Park, 1 is reverse, 2 is neutral, 3 is drive.
