OK, after our recent fiasco with the trail closing i've decided to start a list of trails in the area. What we are looking for is legal areas where we can plan events and go wheeling.

Please format as such:

Place Name
Location (city, state)
Public/Private/National Forest (include Ranger District)
Type of activity (trails, bogs, water, etc)
Times open (day only, day/night, seasonal closings)
Difficulty Rating
Minumum Reccomended Eqipment
Contact information
Any other helpful info

some things to keep in mind:

It has to be a legal venue, we can't go wheeling on powerlines or private property without written permission, etc.

I'll start with one,

-Beasley Knob OHV Area
-Blairsville, GA
-Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest - Brasstown District
-Trails - approximately 11 miles
-Trails open mid-April and close in November
-Most trails are rated more difficult to most difficult and are reccomended for experienced riders only
-MRE is established at the beginning of every season by the Rangers
-Contact:
Brasstown Ranger District
1881 Highway 515
P.O. Box 9
Blairsville, GA 30514
Phone: 706 745-6928
Fax: 706 745-7494

Saturday, 8:30 - 5:00
Open Sunday, 8:30 - 5:00 from mid-April to mid-November
