Howdy,
Are there any hard and fast electrical rules regarding how long a fusible link should be? I have a roll of 14 ga and a roll of 18 ga fusible link wire and was going to do some minor rewiring on my RC. Just need an idea how long to cut the lengths of link to spec, if there is one.

their little tech book said the same thing. Had a lot of other info on fusible links, but 5 1/2"-6" was what it also said on length

That little tech book is worth getting, a little basic maybe, but well worth looking at, for 7 bucks or whatever it was.
