When it is warm outside after a long drive, my fuel tank seems to build up a lot of pressure and starts leaking out of the vicinity of the sending unit. Why is it doing this and where do I start to fix it
I hate driving around in a Molotov cocktail on wheels………..
Maybe you just have a bad gasket around your sending unit. If your gas cap is the vented kind it will vent before you blow up, at least that is the theory. Vapor pressure in the tank is normal up to a point.
