My 89' Ram Charger's front leafs are literally flat. I'm not too worried about it ( or should i be) but yea i defidently off road at least once a week if not more. Should this be a concern......
flat leaf springs are not unusual and nothing bad, unless you have lift springs, that were more or less arched at one time. The ride quality is probably not the best that you could have, but that's another issue.
I'd be a little concerned if they had a negative arch to them though. That's when I would go and get them re-arche, buy new springs or upgrade to a lift.
most ramcharger front springs had 0 arch, so the fact that they are flat is normal, as santak said though if ouy develop a negative arch i would see about getting some different ones
my front leafs had negative arch, if I were to buy 2" front leafs and 2" add a leafs for the rear will that make my truck sit level and have some lift Were can I get the 2" leafs and add a leafs, what do you recommend?
well the short add leafs make for a hard ass ride but u can get the add a leafs about anywhre though most parts stores have them I know that Autozone has them for like 80 bucks or something but gotta replace the u bolts and all that hard ware as well .
