i may be mistaken but when i pulled the axle out of my 97 you didnt even have to take off the big nut in the center. or at least i dont remember doing it.
ok i got now, cause all i had to do was change the u joint. it was fun cause i was young and nieve and i felt like a hard ass breaking a u joint on a 44 with 31 inch tires and an open diff lol
