I just noticed the floor hump in my 4-speed D200 cab is not large enough for me to put the cab on a 4x4 chassis. So now I need to salvage the 4x4's trans hump and add it to my cab's floor.

Anybody have any ideas how best to do this? I'm thinking of taking the whole floor (drill out sportwelds) from the parts cab, and replacing my 2WD D200 floor with it (seeing as the D200 has rot on one side, and stress cracks on the other). Anybody done this? I have the added bonus of having a squished and twisted cab for the good parts. :p

I thought there were only two basic floor humps, but I guess not. There's 2wd auto, 2wd 4-speed (NP 435), 4x4 (auto and manual seem like they should be the same, minus the shifter cutout), oh, and then there's the weird add on hump for A833 boxes.

I need a floor for an A833 box. I have the little fiberglass job. My truck has a 2wd auto floor now. Want to make a deal?

A 2" body lift will take care of the tunnel problem also.

Sorry, I don't think can't help you... the only place I've seen an A833 floor is a picture in my service manual.

Where would I find a good spot weld drill bit that won't wear out after 3 spot welds?

a second on the 2 wheel cab on a 4x4 chassis, it does need the 2 inch lift though, makes for more room in the cab especially if you have an automatic. Have an adventurer cab on my 72 power wagon with a 727.

I would think that adding the 2 inch body lift would be the easyest way to go

I have a 4" on my truck and my shifter is almost touching the floor. I'm just going to weld up a mount for the shifter boot, and to help keep the water out.

Overdrive....if you IM me your email addy, I can send you a pic of where the shifter will come through on a 2wd cab.

they are what i could find for a mid70's to late 80's 4x2 with a manual tranny. one of them should work if they are willing to sell just the floor
