Thanks, i keep fring starters and don,t know why. The battery has fluid around the caps but seems to be charged up, and the wires from the battery to groud is new and the wires from the battery to relay and from the relay to the starter are new. it just clicks when tring to start. I'm sure its the starter would like to know why? this will be the fourth one in 8 mounths.
What voltage is your charging system running at? Water leaking from the battery can be caused by overcharging. If it is overcharging, the green field wire may have rubbed through the insulation somewhere, grounding it, and full-fielding the alt. The Voltage regulator may be bad as well.
Check what voltage your system is running at....you don't want a fire!
