This board is a real eye opener for me. I know that Sam is one hard worker for this site. I don't see how he does this and keep a level head. But what i am beginning to understand is just how much effort just a handful of dedicated people are putting into helping him and the site. I've been here a short time and can see by postings that although we have 3500 plus members most are not actively involved. Thats sad. If the rest of the members were like me, they too are taking a good thing for granted. I hope i can contribute to your efforts in some way. Don.

There are two ways to become a contributor. You figured out the easy way-just throw some $$ to the site. The other way is to come up with some good content for it-whether it be a How-To, FAQ or whatever...

Well, thanks for your frank comments Glenn. I'll take your trite comments about my contribution to the site in a positive way. Thank you for the welcome to the contributor board too! A little different welcome i'm not used to seeing on RCC. Because your concerned about my contributions to the site i will list what i want to do for the how to section.
1. Rear Tire fabrication for R/C. (now in progress with a tire carrier manufacturer.)
2. Rock Bars.
3. Heavy duty Bumper for rear of RC(then later front)

Let me say this before something erupts I don't think Brew was being trite, short, frank, harry, bob, steve, or anything I don't think he was trying to demean you in anyway. He was just stating the ways to become a contributor. Nothing more, nothing less. Welcome to the secret board, and thanks for contributing

Well Randall, my contribution to the site is my business. Had i known it was public information and subject to discussion i would have made a (i guess) more appropriate contribution and avoided the hoopla. In my short 55 years i have made my share of donations but never had anyone come back to me and tell me that i'm throwing money at them and i should be doing more than that.

I didn't make a donation to obtain contributor status. I post to all the boards when i feel i have something that will/may help someone out. I don't post every other hour on some silly topic.

If you read my post you will see that i said i will do whatever i can to help the site. Which i was in the process of doing. I think thats more than about 3500 other member of RCC. Enough said on my end.
