Yes it can be done. You'll have to remove the radiator, radiator wall, and pull it out thru the front van style because it won't all come out from the hood.

Easiest way is to unplug all wires and remove the body bolts and remove the entire front clip. Then you can get in there and see what you are doing, it makes it alot easier to work on.

Thanks, the cab and front end are already off the truck, so all, i have to do is unbolt the tranny and engine mounts then slide it forward? Do I need to support the tranny some how?

You don't need to support the tranny to pull the motor, but you will need to support it some to install the motor so everything lines up.

yes support the tranny. he doesnt have the cab on? just stick a block of wood under it so it dont stress the mount( the rubber trans mount)
