One inch would be plenty, there's several adapters for the Holley 2300 to pretty much anything besides the Holley TBI used on Mopars. It would be easier to get one of them and modify it or the intake over making one from scratch.

I also seen a thread about using the holley EFI for a jeep BBC? Would that be better than the 2300?
Not really no, it's a direct bolt-on for the 318 2bbl intake but the throttle linkage is not quite the same as a Mopar, same with the 2GC Rochester. They're all the same fuel flow wise and I'd imagine the CFM rating is very close as well. Just be aware that 350hp is the limit on the 2bbl snipers if you want more than that a 4bbl is required.

My personal favorite for a tow vehicle is a spread bore such as the Thermoquad or Quadrajet, and Holley makes a Q-jet sniper that's progressive linkage out of the box. Very crisp throttle response and cruising fuel economy like spread bores are known for, and serious power when the secondaries are opened up.

I'm putting a Sniper 2300 2bbl on an Edelbrock 7577 EFI-to-Carb magnum intake using a HVH adapter -

Comp Cams was one of the few that actually 'had' cams to buy in stock, and for my 'truck' application I'm using their recommended #20-745-9: 212-218 (264/270), .480/.480, on a 114* LSA, along with a fresh set of their matching springs. The next cam down was their 20-744-9, which is a 206/212 (258/264) also with .480.480, but on a 112*, and with my intended use he indicated the 114* of the taller cam would make my idle a bit better while still giving a real nice mid-range and upper end, and that sounded good to me.

Hughes recommended a 210/216, on a 110*, and both Howards and Bullet had similar recommendations...but none were available at either and no end in sight for backorders, so Comp Cams it is.

The stock Vin Z cam is pretty much identical but with equal lift In/Ex at .410.

I prefer the narrow lobe separation personally although injection likes a wider lobe angle....
