To each his own, we happen to like the look of the flag, and for your info, there are alot of vehicles up here that have the Confederate flag. Not too mention the mason dixon line is only a couple of hours from us. :)

Whoooooa who whoa lets get something straight before things get out of hand, first off the flag did not nor does it now stand for hate.I am a descendant of Confederate veterans and Slavery was not the reason why the Civil war started. but this isn't the place to critique the war nor racial politics so i will cease talking about that.and stick to the Dodge talk. The only reason i brought up the flag issue was becuase the person was on 'yankee' soil ;D and was kinda wondering why they used it so much.but then again today I just realized that I completely forgot about 'Confederate sympathisers'. ;) So please forgive my hackles getting raised a hair as i take my Southern Heritage very seriously but thats for another forum so I apologise for my interupting things here.

ummmm I wasn't saying you had any racial implications, I like it for what it is, I'd love to have one on something as well... I should have rephrased that statment.  Not everyone can appreciate it for what it is, some still see it as a symbol of slavery.... I just don't use it due to the negative feedback (small mindedness) of others. had nothing to due with how I feel personally I think it looks great on your hood. I even used to have some really cool ones on the back of my ramcharger back in the day.... until people's "stupidy" began to encrouch so I took them off...  it's amazing how little and how much you can imply with simple words on a computer screen... without meaning too....

According to Mapquest, it's about an hour and 25 minutes northeast of us. I see that your grandparents are north of Northampton...we were there about 2 years ago and I believe it took us a little over an hour to get there. So it's not too far from us.

Ian, sorry it's taken so long to reply, we don't get on here too much anymore  :'(   Anyway, the lift was done in May or June of 06.  Brian had one heck of a time doing it, as the springs were for a 1975 Chevy Blazer I believe.  He had to do a little modifying on them.  Also had to have the rear drive shaft lengthened.  Had issues when wheeling with the original, or should I say Ursula's spare.  :)

At this point in time though the RC needs some TLC.  Needs to have both upper and lower ball joints done on both driver side and passenger side... the tie rod ends need to be replaced...oil pan gasket needs to be done... hmmm and of course body work... but that's an on going thing.  And of course Brian always has ideas on what he wants to add, though I'm not sure that they are feasible all the time.

Anyway thanks for the comments, they are all appreciated, and as we can we will add more pics of new updates.
