Has anybody got a cheaper idea for that Dynamat stuff you put on your doors. I put a new stereo in my Ram and I'm trying to improve the sound as well as eliminate as much road noise as I can. Need all the help I can get there.{wave}

A while back somebody mentioned they used that self adhesive roofing underlament called "snow and ice sheild" (I think that's the name). Anyway, it is cheaper than dynamat (per foot) but I'm not sure you can buy it in small rolls.
I liked the idea because I already have some left overs from my house. I haven't tried it yet. I think I paid about $90.00 for a huge roll.

wondered about taking paper backed insulation and thinning the insulation down and using it. Any thoughts on that?

Rhino lining? I think someone posted that it helped with road noise.

Brian you got me thinking. The stuff they put on walls under vinyl siding. It's foil backed, they call it fan fold I think. Not sure how thick it is, but not very 1/4" maybe. That ought to work. Thanks. Also didn't I see somewhere on here somebody used the udercoat in a can on thier doors? :D
