This hub is on my 74 RC. Not sure what it cam off of. I took some pics of the diff but it yields no clues as it is still encased in some blackberry vines.
Looks like the hubs that were part of the old full time 4WD to part time 4WD conversion kits. Very similar to the '80s Ranger and Bronco II hubs. Very weak, and next to useless.
That's kind of what I was suspecting. I have two 74's and both have had lockers added. I have no idea if the T-cases have been mod'd. Neither one is operational right now, so it will take some tinkering before I can find out.
Thank you Super B. That gives me an idea of what is going on in that one. Now I wonder if the t-case has been mod'd. My other RC has chevy axles, I believe, with WARN hubs, but no idea if the t-case had been mod'd either. I appreciate the lesson. Thank you!
