These are available in an install kit setup. You will get;
2) HD Heavy Duty DOM tube frame bushing holder weldments.
2) 1 1/2" poly "T" style bushing assemblies with DOM sleeve for the 5/8" bolt.
2) greasable 5/8" grade 8 bolts with all metal lock nuts.
4) 3/8" thick HD shackles
2) 1.030" poly "T" style bushing assemblies with DOM sleeve for the 5/8" bolt for Dodge springs
2) greasable 5/8" grade 8 bolts with all metal lock nuts.
4) 1/2" grade 8 bolts to mount to the frame
2) 1/2" grade 8 button head bolts to mount to the frame
6) 1/2" all metal lock nuts
10) 1/2" grade 8 flat washers
1) drill template for opening up the hole in the frame using a 2" hole saw.
2) Shackle spacer washers ( to clear bolt heads when flexing)

Here's a few pics of the parts that are in the kit. The kit is to install on the rear of the front springs replacing the weak stock setup. I included everything in the kit to make it easier to install & end the chase for parts. I do not mark up the price bushings or bolts. I'm doing this to make a sweet install for you. Myself, I hate surprises & the question of where can I find these parts. I have installed 2 of these kits in my RCs without a hitch. Check my threads for pics of the install. The kit price to all RCCers is $424.40 + shipping
all kits now include the upgraded 5/8" grease bolts in the front spring eyes & the shackles.

These weldments & the 4 shackles are now Sand blasted to white steel & then powder Coated with Gloss Black.

I also ship them as they are to be installed.
The grease fitting in the 2" DOM tube faces the rear of the truck.
Torque your grease bolt to 85 Ft Lbs
Thanks for looking,
Jim

OK Jim, Here is an opinion question.
9/16" vs. 5/8" for upper and lower bolts of front spring rear shackle.
I am running a 92 CTD so it seems that 5/8" is a no brainer. Then I got to thinking about the spring eye size and the thickness of the bushing between the bolt and spring eye.
A larger bushing will flex a little better and just may last longer.
Do you or anyone else have experience / lore on this?

Yes, and as you know I did break the 1/2" bolts on one side last week.

This is my daily driver but I do wheel a bit with max articulation as an issue.

Thanks,
Ken

Ken,
The bushing bore for the DOM sleeve is the same diameter. The difference is in the wall thickness on the DOM sleeve. So that said I would always go with the 5/8" grease bolts.

Great to know! Thanks for putting this stuff together for us Jim!

For my 92 W350 SRW CTD truck:

HD frame bushing kit (I don't need shackles as I already made a set of 3/8 in a length that works well for all the geometry.
All in 5/8 grease bolts.
5/8 grease bolt kit for the front spring eyes too. (total of 6 5/8" grease bolts)

Crossover steering brace and passenger frame boxing piece.
(I did the crossover and it creaks and groans when I push it, even with hydroboost. Now to brace it right.)

Shipped to 84532

Thanks,
Ken

Christmas in September.  ;D
I got my stuff!
Hard to believe how clean and solid they are down to the attention to detail in the packaging.
The attention to detail shown in your RC build carries over to the parts you provide the rest of us.
Thanks for great products at fair prices.

I'll post up as i get it installed.
Thanks again Jim!
