Dodge class C RV or cube van or chassis cab

I’m looking for a 1979-1982 Dodge C class RV, cube van, or just the chassis cab called a cab forward back then.

Must have 163 inch wheelbase and 11,500 lb GVWR on the plate in the door jamb.

Bird dog finder’s fee for the right truck or leads on getting one.

Roller chassis as a minimum. Prefer driver, but show me what you’ve got.

Thx.

Will you throw a couple of random pictures into this thread for reference? I'll look for the challenge of it. I'm in the mid-atlantic region. Where're you?
Check your local homeless camp. Seriously. I know of one or two in SW WA. Just a roller. I took the seats out of it. Lol. But probably a 74, not a 79.
I’m outside Buffalo, NY. Willing to travel. Went to Cali for my last truck no problem.

A reminder it’s got to be a 163” unit from 1979 to 1982 with a plate saying GVWR of 11,500 lbs.

Good hunting.

I said I’d travel. I’ll ship too. Bought a 4x4 1984 B350 from Washington state and shipped it east.

Thx.

is this you? Recently flipped, seller came back and said I'll build to order. North of Pittsburg I think.

They made those in a 450 also. ;)
Hey RWG75 I like what you’re finding.

The ramp truck is not me. Is that a 1978 and earlier chassis?

The second one is definitely the right year. Wheelbase and GVWR 163 and 11,500 respectively?

Send me a PM please.

Thx. G.

Pages of suitable donors for haulers down this thread:

Completed one was listed as 78, have seen similar back to 73 at least. Donor is listed as an 80, looks like same wheel base, haven't chased GVWR, last one I saw was ex-box truck 10k. Mini Wini usually higher?

That last one is just down the hill. I'm thinking a bed something like this cobbled together from an old trailer and hydros from a tommy lift.

Advertised as a 1977. Short wheelbase? $100. Millwood, VA

Looks like a helluva deal for someone getting into camper restore. Dig those wheel covers!

Does it need to have a title? I think I know where one is in NW Ohio.

Close but you said 79-82. Wheelbase?
That's not a 78 (grille) and he's looking for the 163" wb which means the donor needs to be at least a 24'.

I'm already on that 79 so, shhhh.
I just went with the ad saying 78, but yeah you're right.
A repaired or restored Minnie would be awesome.
That one has mondo water damage in the roof. Perfect for this sort of repair:
