Has anyone installed a Delco Remy CS130 alternator on their mopar? I have been looking for ways to upgrade the antiquated electrical system on my truck. I was looking at a site that shows how to hook up what's called a "remote voltage sensing" system that allows more voltage to reach the ignition and accessories while still keeping the battery at full charge. They use the CS130 with the integral voltage regulator to accomplish that.

I'm just wondering if the delco remy is compatible with my Dodge. It's a 105 amp unit that can be upgraded to 140 amps with an Iceberg package.

I was going to do that myself, but trying to figure out the wiring for the wires on the plug and what they should be for gave me a headache.

As always Chump, you're the man. Thanks. I got the idea from Mad Electric. Your first link has a mount that will work perfectly.

Thanks again.
