Does anyone happen to know if a dana 70 out of a 1991 will swap directly over into a truck built with a dana 60 rear end?  A friend of mine has an 85 w250 with an open carrier and I happen to have a dana 70 with the same ratio and limited slip on the shelf, his funds are tight, and we are both curious if anyome knows if the driveshaft needs modification for the swap?

Pinion is a little longer on the D70. You'll have to do a test-fit to see if the shaft length is ok. Yokes can be swapped easy enough.

I put a D60 in place of a D70 on my D250. Shaft worked fine.
