I have a dana 44HD on my crew cab that has drums that I wish to convert to disc brakes. Will disc brake hubs from a 78 ford dana 44HD work for the conversion or should I try to stick with dodge? Would the bearings work?
You should be able to do a swap using parts from any Dana 44 source. (And a Furd Dana 50 too) You'll need to swap everything from the knuckles-out. (Make sure the knuckles are the same size if froma Furd or post 94 Dodge)
I was originally planning on using chevy 10 bolt stuff. I need the spindles, short shafts, hubs/rotors, and locking hubs. Offroadexchange did it and thats the design I'm gonna follow. I was just curious about those for hubs since I found a set on ebay pretty cheap.
