The stub axle, nut, bearing retainer,and dust shield are the same for either side, and from 75 to 79 (74 for RC's). Also the same for 1/2 tons, and the 3500 Lb axle (dana 44) 3/4 tons. Might find them by searching for the military M880 parts, they are also the same.
The brake shield, I thought the early ones were larger for the 3/4 tons, and then by 77 or so they changed to both the 1/2 ton, and 3/4 ton using the same size. Many people will say they ditch them, so the brakes cool better. I do not know if that is true or not. I have had trucks with and without them and cannot say I noticed any difference.
