i think my cowl is cracked the little hump right behind my pass quarter panel if i remember there is a way to fix this, can it be welded or does it have to have metal rivited to it, am i really far off or is there a way to fix it
??

The cowl cracks I'm famailier with are up by the windshield.

I tried welding my cracks and forming a couple of peices of strap iron to fit around the curve for added support, but after the RCC Moab trip, the welds broke and new cracks have started. Might have to just pay for the dealer parts.

lookin at the pics thats not were i noticed it was cracked on mine it was cracked from the bottem of the oval space to the center about 3 inches
