The guy I bought it from couldnt make it run. The engine had 1 1/4 inches of sludge in the oil pan. Must of used Pennzoil!

I dropped a police engine in it and the rest is history.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. I've heard some bad stuff about pennzoil.

Pennzoil bought Quaker State about 3 years ago, so my guess, they are the same thing now.

You get sudge from not changing the opil cuz it will break down and when it does it leaves a sludge deposir so that's why you should really never wait to change your oil ever . It like your blood you couldn't live with sludgei n your system could you ?

PS: AND yes Penziol is notorious ofr not having much of a life span . I just used some of the Max Life and noticed a much better performance after using it .
