We are planning on the RV kit also. That way we can put it in the 5th wheel and my wife can work while visit back here or if we take a vacation.

My only complaint is that you have to take the antenna in and out every time you move. Most of the times I keep it on the roof and have the cable go inside through a slit in the "garage" door. It's inconvenient because i starter to travel with a small ladder

I've seen people modify the whole thing

but I'll have to come up with something else because I need that long cable for our 6 months family trip.

So they have a map as to where residential is available. You can order the equipment but it can take 6 months until you get it. We are plan on being there in 6 months and will need high speed reliable internet once we get there and starlink has been known to have problems. Kristen will lose her job if she can get on line and do the tela-med. Then we are screwed. hus the reason for 2 units. We are going to get a sat-phone also so we have a way to make calls if it does go down.

I work from home quite a bit. 2 days a week minimum. It was 5 days. I have only had Starlink go down on me once and that was less than 30 minutes. But, I also live in the NW where service is reliable even tho i'm 80 miles south of Seattle in farmland.

Growing up in Logan county WV I can understand the lack of phone coverage, I'm surprised how good it is here honestly as I'm not exactly in a popular area in NC.

I am surprised it is not like that here. Go back where there is no road for 10- 15 miles, and the phone still works.

Sounds like that area is part of the National Radio Quiet Zone due to the Green Bank Observatory. Very limited cell or satellite service.

Well more problems, My wife ended up with Covid again even after the shots. I say I had a bad cold, not the rona without the shots and I'm fine now.
Second is the loss of her stepdad last Thursday on his and my MIL's 19th anniversary. He was on dialysis due to uncared for diabetes for years. He had a heart attack in their driveway afte getting back from dialysis.
My wife has been with her mom in DE since Sat. I'm still not sure when she is coming home. Maybe Monday.

We're still waiting for her work to send out the offer for fulltime on line work, as well as the Starlink connection at the WV property. Good news is after all the research my wife did the people with the [property are willing to buy the $400+ starlink package to test it out for us. So if it works we will buy the system from them.

Back to my liberal brother's name calling and superior self righteous attitude sending bashing texts to me and my oldest son. OH and i was told not to talk to my mom about retrieving the things in the family home that is collapsing on it's self. I just want to save the things not sell them, yet he feels the need to be in control.
