Chapter Logo --- Update: I think we have something here!!

Ok, What do ya think? This is about 7 hours invested (not the best with photoshop...), But I think it turned out pretty cool.

I played with the outline of Oregon, but really wasn't to happy with anything. This site isn't about states anyway
Comments? Suggestions? Ideas? Let me know.
--Edit: I drew this from scratch, as opposed to my profile pic, which was just edited. As I went I saved quite a few times, so, making any changes shouldn't be too diffiicult.

I like it, but I think the words are a little hard to read. Can you make those stand out a little more? Other than that, very cool

Ok, took the other one down, (sorry SlickWillie, I see you were already usin it),

Ian's gonna upload the final one we decide on to RCC, my server space over at villagephotos is severely limited, so, just be patient, and once we get one we all like on here, he'll post a link to it for everyone to use.

Heres the newest version. Played with some diamond plate texture I had, "riveted" the Ram's head shield to it, and lit it all up. Whatcha think?

See, what I'm trying to accomplish, is, giving us the coolest chapter logo here, I think I did that with the first one. This one tops that. This is my favorite so far (you have NO idea how flops I made...).

Edit: Damnit, now that I look at it here, the light looks a little too concentrated at the corners.... Hold on... I can spread it out a bit

Acutally, I noticed it was missing something, from the original one. That was it. Forgot to light up the rams head. Did two versions. Rams head glowing red:

Tried putting the text in a circle, around the rams head, but the circle was too small and the text wasn't legible.
I kind of tricked the program into making this work. Made the picture bigger, wrote out the text, and then resized it smaller. And it worked. Hallelujah. Was starting to get a wee bit frustrated....
