Can anyone tell me how to dial in a Cam?

Does it make much difference in power over normal cam installation?

Due to the math involved, the Mopar degree wheel is the best one to use. I have heard many a good engine builder say that after they degreed the cam, they ended up at the same place that you would by just lining up the marks. Unless you are building a seriously HP motor, I wouldn't worry too much about it. The purist may scoff, but my hydraulic cam is next to the biggest one made before you get into solid lifters and it ended up like I said above. It's fun to do, but I would have to get a book out and type the procedure - kind of long. It also depends on which degree wheel you chose to use.

Summit Racing has one for $26.99 #SUM-G1057. But, like I said, I wouldn't be able to give you the right procedure until you tell me which wheel you are going to use.
