Hi ya all,
i want to put in a new camshaft in my ´84 LA360 Ramcharger
and wanted to ask, if it can be done while engine in car, without cutting the middle radiator support brace?
I did that years ago on a chevy K10 (shame on me), where i had to cut and bend the support out of the way, to get the cam in.....

Yes you can change it in the truck.  The radiator and A/C condenser must be removed first.  It will not come out with the cam gear still in place but once you pull the gear it comes right out.

I just did this on my 1984.
