I was wondering if you cam gurus out there could help explain all the stuff on the cam spec tag. The cam I have is a crane cams blue racer cam. I got it really cheap and don't know if its really what I want.Mainly low end power is what I'm after.
All help is greatly appreciated. :)

Well actually that is not a big cam. It will give great bottom end in a 360 and good low end in a 318. The ADV duration does look bigger than normal for a cam with a with a 204 @ .050 duration. The # @ .050 is the best # to go by for duration. With .420 lift you should be able to use stock v-springs, if not the springs it calls for will not be very expensive.

Thanks for the info. Do I need to use hydraulic or solid lifters. And how do I figure how long the pushrods have to be?
