FYI...these might be of use to some people that find themselves always in the middle of dirty bulb sockets. About $5 apiece. Cleaning brushes for pistol barrels will also do a good job. Remember to disconnect power to the area you are working on.

I don't know if all parts stores carry them but I do know that Autozones do. Can't remember the price but I think they are $4.99. They are in the same section as the light bulbs.

I use a "cup-brush" in the Dremel-tool; just don't chuck it so deep that it can't reach the bottom.

More on topic, I have used the Dremel for this quite a few times and it works great.  I have a little spot brush that is good for the contacts and another that is a disc shape that fits perfectly in the socket to clean up the sides.  As a matter of fact, my first Dremel tool was bought just for this purpose for my '73 Road Runner.

He's posted a few times since so I doubt it. He did, however, before the banning have a lot of trouble with carpal tunnel and let us know he would not be on very much.

His ban was lifted several months ago. He said he'd be back on the boards (and has posted at least once as Doc mentioned) but said that health issues would limit his use and that it might be a while.
