Will engine mounts from a 400 2wd automatic truck work on a 360 4wd 727/208 RC that I'm installing a 440 4wd 727/208. if not what are the dimensions of the mount that I need. Also what elevation on relation to the frame should the 440 sit. Any info would be a god send..

I believe that the motor mounts would be the same; tranny mounts may even be the same, but use a different crossmember.. But I'm pretty sure that the motor mounts would be the same, for all of the big blocks.

my 78 club cab (2wd) came with a 318. i put a 400 auto from a van, then used the same mounting parts on the 440 i put in after that.

Yeah the mounts may be the same, biscuit style, but the engine brackets will be different. The driver's side bracket on a 4wd big block has a hole or an offset in it so that the bolt from the oil pump will not hit it. If you use the 2wd mounts, the mounting hole to the k frame will be shy about 2 or so inches. Same with the passenger side it will be that much too far away from lining up to the k frame as well.
