It was nailed to the perch!

She cooked him and it was great. Keeps talking about how she wants to register the amazon as an emotional support animal. Kinda like a service dog except not generally recognized the same way. I keep pointing out that we've carried the bird in to a ton of places with zero complaints. I said take it to court with us because you're gonna be emotional. This place didn't even have a metal detector, I could have walked in with an ice pick in my pocket.

I so wish I could post a copy of felon boys dash cam. It covers before, during and after and could induce torches and pitch forks. There was (2) grizzled prison transport officers acting as bailiff's, they were both shaking their head in amazement and disgust. I don't know how the lawyer had the stones to argue any of it.

is roughly the shooters view. In the dash cam footage he knows exactly where he shot. As for remaining civil, I'm working on sane and roughly holding my own.

The dash cam is soooo much worse. We probably spent 90 minutes in the courtroom doing the legal dance. There's about 90 seconds of video that prove him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Intentional, aimed, celebrated.

C'mon on down, we'll make a group outing of it! Come early, we'll meet up, road trip for next hearing. I should seriously make an event posting somewhere but I'm takin the Red because body shop jail. During the preliminary I was within leaping distance of felon boy. If I gotta do that, I'll pay the gas to drive real metal instead of her lady jeep.

So this ptsd thing ya may have heard of is wearing thin. She get's up this morning, puts on $%^@ tic-toc, hears a gun shot and the whole day is shot. Hunters or target practice within ear shop of walking trail at work didn't help. Truth be told, we're both getting annoyed with it. I mean her gun shot is running both our lives. After walking out of the preliminary, I legit couldn't say more than a few curse words for about 2 days.

Last week she wanted to retail therapy at the bird store. Not my thing but I've learned to just get baked out of my mind and play with the birds while she does her thing. This time it was a goffins cockatoo and would ya believe he gave me a treat? Friendly like a 'too but not psycho like one. She's been brating at me ever since to buy it. Other day keep arguing about how ya can't take it with ya and ya could get shot doing nothing. Both of these things are true but still no reason to spend money you don't have on a thing you don't need, or even worse, try to spend my money.

you look almost as old as me , the thing that kills me about that photo , just took it a minute ago , is l look "pissed off" and l,m not , it's pretty scary that l walk around all day looking like that , no wonder people run to the other side of the road or isle in the store to avoid me LOL = plus being almost 300Lbs and 6 plus ft tall might add to the mystique

I had to vent about felon boy - that bit was after the 600 round trip for the prelim. Medically, she's fine and has a nice big scar. As I mentioned a couple times her PTSD is off the scale. I mean, way off the scale. (3) therapists and some meds and still bad but oddly, weed works for her.

The sound of gunshots trigger her which is odd because she never heard the shot that hit her. Windows up, Broadway musical Hamilton cranking.

Was thinkin about that today. She grabbed on to a suggestion to bag the retail therapy and build bird toys. Two birds, one stone no pun. We spent the day harvesting and prepping bits. One leg of my yard is 200 yards with a wooded back stop. Tons of deer and used to have a couple guys hunt it. I should hang some in the woods.

One guy I worked with came out and did the full on hunter routine. Camo gear, tracking sign and likely food. Figuring out routes they're taking. Ok, that was the hunt part. I kept telling him, leave all that in the truck and sit on the deck. He bagged a couple / year with bow sitting in a tree.

It's called resting bitch face and I don't even answer when they ask what I'm annoyed about anymore. If I'm out busting a** on something the mane looks a bit wild man ish. I've been told that the bailiffs and especially the victim advocates were concerned about me. I'm glad that it came in useful.

I just want to take a minute and restate the complete and totally stupidity at the root of all this.

Picture a 6 lane highway with 3 cars in 3 different lanes going the same direction.
Front car: lane 1, slow lane
Middle car: lane 2
Last car: lane 3, fast lane
Last car is catching up with middle car as middle car is catching up with front car.

Front car notices a sign that says "exit only, 1 mile", merges left.
Middle car merges left to dodge front car
Felon boy is driving last car.

Could have a 3 car plus whatever crashed from behind but everybody dodged everybody else.

Threatened to the point of using deadly forced?
Putz, shoot the car that started it.

That's great to hear she is fine physically. Mental health takes much longer. It's amazing was some weed and CBD can do. If it works, keep it up. With that said, too much THC can lead to paranoia down the road. But I am a firm believer in its healing powers.

On the legal front, formal arraignment in the Court of Common Pleas had been scheduled for April 4 but that was waived and so far no trial date. I don't know the how / why / who of it but the criminal homicide charge was withdrawn and replaced with criminal attempt, homicide and they tacked on another felony - aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. We're still working on getting the "hate crime" multiplier worked in and I really think I'm gonna make that more of a priority.


Disclaimer: the following is ridiculously watered down because she freaks out about me posting what's going on. I'm not connected legally to the case in any way, shape or form so technically just another opinion from somebody on the internet. Clearly keeping her calm supersedes my need to vent. So anyway, I get up this morning and she hits me with a social media posting from felon boy - before my first cup of coffee. He's looking forward to more charges in his case being dropped then takes a delusional tangent about the racist LGBT woman that repeatedly tried to run him off the road and some other conspiracy drivel. No doubt removed upon the advise of counsel but I have the screen shot. It's worth noting that felon boy is bisexual - ya know, the B in LGBT.

That was a completely unsatisfactory summary without personal comment. Feel free to follow along at links posted earlier in this thread, I just can't. Reminder: The open invitation to meet up in the Pittsburgh area still stands. The first round is on me.

The Seattle to Olympia area (WA) is now experiencing this same sort of criminal behavior. There is an uptick in shootings from "car to car" and "side of the freeway to car" lately. And a major uptick in shootings all around. Such a sad world we live in now. I don't leave home without "it" anymore. I don't like feeling the need to do that. I've never had to before. I don't have to where I live. But things are getting rough "out there" in the blue areas.

Wokeness is the problem. It has enabled activist judges, DA's, City Counsels, and politicians to favor criminals instead of victims and constituents. With no bail policies criminals have no consequences. The new Seattle mayor seems to be cracking down on criminals more and allowing the police to bust more people. But, we still have activists in the court system here, so they are transferring many cases involving drugs and guns straight to the federal courts.

Kinda makes ya miss the good old days when they dropped rims from over passes? I’ve noticed how many hits ya get when ya google pa turnpike shooting and how this one is mild in comparison. Any one of my big old Dodges would have put his pos in a ditch. Think a close range 9mm would punch through a 95 lb door from the 70s? Side reinforcement could pass as a guard rail.

She’s doin better - ish. PTSD sucks.
