That's not a bad price for a long block. You might want to check prices on new-not rebuilt crate motors. I just put a Goodwrench motor in my Camaro. When I figured up the total price, I had actually got a new motor for about $250.00 more than a rebuilt long block. Sometimes it's worth the extra cost.
