Hi there just wondering if anyone has had trouble with the e-brake release piviot point clip/bracket break down on them?I have seen a few now and was wondering if anyone share's or shared the same trouble.If anyone is interested and thinks it may be a good how to I am working out a procedure on it to make a good fix for this probblem,but if it isnt much of a probblem for you guys then I'll leave it at that.

i've never seen a 70's or 80's dodge that had a parking brake that did work correctly. So I say go ahead with the "how to".

i have a problem with my 77 PW but the welds broke for the support bracket that holds it to the kick panel on the drivers side. now its bent

I have replaced mine twice. It seems a floor mount transplant from the wrecking yard would be the best idea.

Hmm dosnt look like that many probblems,no one had the release lever come apart on them?strange I guess maby all the models I have seen in canada where it gets -35c at times gives it a different strain on the mechanism maby from the cold weather? Thanks for the input guys.Take care.
