Just kidding!
But I do have a real question:
Do most of you guys go wheeling for the sake of wheeling, or do you go wheeling to see new and scenic places that can't be accessed otherwise?

I tried water polo, but the horses kept drowning. taa dum.

Sorry ::)

I went on the Moab trip mostly to meet everybody. The wheeling was just a great bonus. The chapter trips were the same thing, to meet the members, and to see how the truck worked with the upgrades. Before that I wheeled only to reach my favorite hunting or fishing spots. Rarely was it for the wheeling itself.

Polo... polo ??? ;D
Sometimes I 4x just for the fun of it, but like 90 percent of the time it's a tool to get where you can't get without it - camping, fishing, hiking, mt. biking, back country skiing - whatever. But I do like doing it 'style', do it in style means having an 'fixed up' old Dodge truck.... ;D

I do it for both. I just like being in the woods. I do it less to go wheeling, more to just go out for a ride.

wheeling in the woods is fun for me, it is a chance to get away, and it can present a challenge, however i rarely go play in just a mud hole, everyone who just plays in the mud always seems to break something, and i don't much like flat ground. i would love to come out to the desert or utah sometime and go where you can't without a 4x4, i am a sight seeing person, and what better way to see the sights than from off the highway.

I go for just riding around and on hunting/fishing expeditions.

We don't have off road parks up here, just woods roads. They're fun to just plain ride on and see some country.

Generally, I only go wheeling with a purpose, like just to see some pretty country or just go somewhere I haven't been before. The wife and I, really like to just explore.
Don't get me wrong though, I enjoy wheelin', its kind of the icing on the cake, but I'm usually using my RC or my buggy as tool to get me somewhere pretty, away from people (they're the worst!) or somewhere I haven't been (and we have a few of those places here in UT).

some of both, i like the challenge of going over stuff. it's a constant battle with myself, trying to pick the lines while also trying to convince myself that my truck can make it over this.

when i encountered my first obstacle at URE, i almost decided to pack it in, i figured there was no way that my truck was going to clear it. i was so suprised when it did.

also, i wheel to get to sites to study stuff, so i guess it's kinda like work sometimes.

Willy J an dmyself tend to drive around and find secluded spots with good backdrops. But it always seems like we never take the same route to get there.
That sounds so romantic. :-*

i play polo it's fun as hell imagine riding a horse full tilt chasing a little ball with a sledge hammer then slamming into the other team at 45 miles per hour and wailing on the with your club!! kinda like a cross between football golf soccer and horse racing. but yeah i like to prove to my buddies that i can do stuff they can't when we are wheeling.
