yeah but the dirrect connect is only good when you can actually hear what the other person is saying

Well, we went with Verizon. Cheaper plan, nationwide coverage area, and unlimited in-network calling (kinda like direct connect). I can even call my wife from RJ this fall and it's in-network.

Cool phones, too. Apparently the ones we had were antiques. ::)
