adding engine oil cooler raise oil pressure???

Have a 93 dodge 318 and my oil pressure is showing some signs that my engine has some wear, but was thinking about adding a auxillary oil cooler to help with temps but wanted to know if anyboidy has added one and had a rise in oil pressure, Thanks for any help.....

If the cooler is that restrictrive the pressure may increase but the flow ie volume flowing by the important stuff may slow, which means its an artificial sort of improvement.
