Nothing wrong with the caps and rotors, or there really good distributor they make for MP, just there coils, specifically the big yellow coil has a very short lifespan, between me and 2 friends i had 2 blow up figuring the 1st was a 1 in 100 freak, but then the 2nd i was done with it and both my friends also had a short use with them

I use the cap, rotor, and the coil. I have never had a problem with any of them. My challenger has a 383 and the coil has been in there for at least 7 years with a msd ignition. The dually has a 440 and the coil has been in there for 3 years with a msd ignition. I have had pretty good luck, now neither one will probably start.

I have heard bad things about their plug wires before but never anything about their coils. Maybe your hooking them up wrong ED3.... Well then again, maybe you shouldn't be putting them in race cars...

Their suppression core wires just flat out suck. I tested a whole set and they averaged 14,000 ohms per wire. I've used thier 8.8 wires too. They are better but stuff like MSD, Taylor and Moroso Blue Max are much better then the 8.8 wires. I've also used thier cap and rotor which is suppose to be made by Echlin which I believe Napa sells. No problems with the cap and rotor. Best quality out there.

Interesting about the NAPA parts. I have the part numbers posted for the tan caps/rotors in the parts link. I've never ordered them from NAPA and it looks like it would be around $15 for the set. Some places want nearly $30 for the Accel cap/rotor.

NAPA numbers
MO20-Performance Cap
MO25-Performance Rotor

I have used accel coils for many years with no problems.
I have had problems with their super stock wires where the boots actually melted.
I use the 8.8's and they seem to be holding out so far.
