hey guys I have a 87 ram charger that the cycle times are real short. I have plenty of 134a in the system, according to the site glass. I have cleaned out my heater box and added a device to block off the coolant from the heatercore too. But the cycle time are real short. About the time its starts to get real cold the compresser kickes back out. Got any IdealsIt don't have the rod with the white grease on it to make the cycle times longer either. I think 85 or 86 was the last year for that..

Nope - mine's an 86 and it has a plug in thingy there, no wire.

I'm not much on A/C but there are other forums that you might try posting at for help and when you get an answer come back here with your fix.
