Will a rear seat out of a mid 80's RC fit and bolt into the same location on a 77?

hate to break it to you jay, but not without a lot of work.

the mid 80's rc's had seats designed to fold up and the latch bracket for the rear of the seat is mounted in the floorboard and welded in place. would have to cut this out and get it mounted in the floor of your rc.

DAMN! I was afraid of something like that. Thanks, trying to find a seat out of a 70's RC/TD is one F**King pain in my ass! Nobody seems to have one here in SE Idaho, hell, few claim to even having any RC's or Dodge p/u's at all.

it can be done but you need to take all the brakets from the front of the 80s style and put them to your floorboards. you also need that recessed peice at the middle of the backside it latches into. just cut that part of the 80s floor out and weld it to the tub floor of ur 70s style. not that much trouble i would assume.
