SUP,

This is my first post here...........
I could not find AC knobs for my truck so I modified a set from MGW that was intended for a PT.
This took about four hours but I am happy with the end result.
Let me know what ya think??

Later

Knobs cost about $80 from MGW http://www.mgwltd.com/pt_cruiser_ac_knobs.html The stem had to be shrotened and rib had to be removed also had to take Heater/Ac control apart and enlarge the holes for the big knobs.

Gauges and AC face plate are GLO-FLAME, can be found on e-bay for about $80.00 and $20 for AC panel.

Shift knob was bought at Advanced auto parts for $9.00, also bought two billet lighters $14ea. One for the lighter one for Headlight knob.

Replaced 4WD shift knob with a lighted Flame knob.
Looks awsome and matches the gauges http://www.flameball.com/Flameball.htm

I made the rest of the white panels in the dash from styren bought at the local hobby shop. The neon light around the head unit was purchased at a local Wal-Mart.

Headliner has 3D flames, that I had to do three times before I got it right (Pain in The ARSS). Also recovered the visors to match.

I will take some more photos if interested?

Hope you can make sense of all this...............

Thanks for all of the comments. I have finished the seats and will be replacing the carpet soon. I will try and get some pic's posted this week end. The Stainless gauge insert was purchased ($14.00). It was attached with double sided tape. I am getting ready to leave for Wildwood "Thunder on the Beach"

I would like to see any other pics you can take. also I see your gauges have a metal front. did you make that or buy it?

Scott

So far I have half of my white face gauges made. From the shift indicator over to the right is done and looks great. I'm making as much of this stuff as I can seeing as how I can't afford to buy it.

Hi,

Thanks for all the great comments............

I have not been on here in a while and just got a notice to a reply to this thread.........

The knobs are for a PT cruser, I had to cut the back side and and readjust the position of them so they lined up with the RAM heater control.
*I think there is a company now making them for the 94-97 RAM application? * When I did these they were not availible pre done.

The gauges are made by NU FLAME, just replace the origanal ones, pretty easy mod.

Shift Knob was purchased at Advanced auto parts.

Stainless inlay around gauges can be found on e-bay.

I have since done many more mod's, I will try and post some pics soon.

Thanks again for the replies,
SOPMOD
